The role of electrophysiology study in risk stratification of cardiac sarcoidosis patients: Meta-analyses and systemic review

•An electrophysiology study (EP) can risk stratify cardiac sarcoidosis (CS) patients with high sensitivity and specificity.•High sensitivity and specificity persist in patients with LVEF >35% and no prior history of ventricular tachycardia.•An EP study can guide ICD therapy in CS patients who otherwise do not meet the criteria according to conventional guideline.
