Abstract
In this paper, a novel ISOP (input series and output parallel) hybrid DC-DC converter is proposed for renewable energy grid, which consists of a CLLLC resonant converter and a switched capacitor dual active bridge (SCDAB). This paper analyzes the power characteristics, steady-state operation and average model of the proposed converter. The parameter calculation method of this converter is also presented. Moreover, the proposed converter adopts a hybrid control scheme of pulse frequency modulation control and single-phase-shift control. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed converter and control scheme, a simulation prototype of this converter is built up in PLECS.
