A sensor based on an in-line Mach-Zehnder and Erbium-Doped Fiber for micro curvature measurement is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. The sensor is composed by of single mode-multimode-Erbium doped fiber-multimode-single mode fiber (MMF-EDF-MMF) structure.
