Strengthen Immune System Based on Genetic Testing and Physical Examination Data

Immune system is the human body's most important defense against pathogenic bacteria attacks so as to avoid diseases. Immunity has the functions of physiological defense, self stability and immune monitoring, if these functions were changed, it will lead to various diseases. Many gene variants have been found to be associated with human immune system, for instance, the polymorphism of the loci in the AGFG1 gene can affect a person's susceptibility to influenza A viruses, therefore, to strengthen immune system, genetic factors should be considered to evaluate immune capacity. Some physical examination indicators are also connected with immune capacity, for example, if serum 25 (OH)D level is low, this means vitamin D is insufficient, which will lead to the development of respiratory infections and multiple autoimmune diseases, therefore the physical examination data should also be involved in the evaluation model of immune capacity. Nutrition is the material basis to support the normal function of the immune system, for instance vitamin A and zinc can enhance anti-infection ability, therefore, the diet data need to be integrated into the immunity evaluation model. In this paper, we combine the genetic testing data, physical examination data, diet assessment data together to establish an immune capacity evaluation model as well as a personalized nutrition data model to provide personalized nutrition service for strengthening immune system.
