摘要

•Patients who developed ischemic stroke while hospitalized with COVID-19 had no difference in biomarkers of inflammation and hypercoagulability compared to those who did not develop ischemic stroke during hospitalization.•The COVID-19 Ischemic Stroke Risk Score robustly characterized the risk of developing stroke using clinical parameters and echocardiographic findings.•Echocardiography can be used to estimate the risk of developing ischemic stroke in patients with COVID-19.
