Nonlinear multi-objective flux balance analysis of the Warburg Effect

•Multi-objective optimization can model the Warburg Effect in different cell types.•We proposed an approach to efficiently solve the nonconvex optimization problem.•We derived an interface equation characterizing the impact of cellular parameters.•Our model can output many key biological results consistent with the literature.•Our model shows that glutaminolysis is related to the Warburg Effect.
