Abstract
Although the Masquelet technique is thoroughly described in adult orthopaedic trauma and oncology literature, there are minimal reports to support its use in pediatric patients. Five-year follow-up data on this patient concluded that utilization of this technique for significant bone defects proves to be a safe and effective alternative for the management of pediatric trauma patients.
