Sirolimus combined with oseltamivir and corticosteroid treatment for a puerpera with severe pneumonia caused by 2009 pandemic H1N1: A case report

•Sirolimus was beneficial to a Puerpera with severe H1N1 viral pneumoniae.•Sirolimus combined with oseltamivir could reduce viral loads in blood and BALF.•The combination therapy decreased the patient’s cytokine level in serum.•The combination therapy significantly improved the patient’s clinical outcomes.•To some extent, it provides the evidence for sirolimus usage in such patients.
