Family engagement in early learning opportunities at home and in early childhood education centers in Colombia

摘要
•This study tests the links between home- and center-based family engagement and different developmental domains of 3–5-year-old children in Colombia.•Home-based family engagement was associated to higher numeracy, literacy, social-emotional functioning, and motor skills development.•Center-based family engagement was associated to higher numeracy and literacy.•Results provided evidence of the independent contributions of home-based and center-based family engagement to predicting to children's early development.
