Construction of LaFeO3/g-C3N4 nanosheet-graphene heterojunction with built-in electric field for efficient visible-light photocatalytic hydrogen production

•LaFeO3/g-C3N4 nanosheets-Graphene Z-scheme heterojunction was prepared by a two-step simple calcination method.•Fe–O–C in the heterojunction serves as a mass transfer channel was conducive to charge transfer.•LaFeO3/g-C3N4-0.25G shows outstanding visible photocatalytic hydrogen production activity and stability.
