Abstract
Introduction: The purpose was to explore the application value of 3.0T multimodal magnetic resonance (MRI) technology in endometrial cancer (EC).Methods: The clinical data of 88 EC patients diagnosed by pathology in our hospital from March 2016 to March 2019 were retrospectively analyzed. All patients underwent 3.0T multimodal MRI examination before surgery, and the examination staging results were compared with the postoperative pathological results to comprehensively evaluate the role of 3.0T multimodal MRI in the EC staging and diagnosis. Results:. Histopathological staging results showed 37 cases of stage Ia (42.0%) , 25 cases of stage Ib (28.4%), 16 cases of stage II (18.2%), 8 cases of stage III (9.1%), and 2 cases of stage IV (2.3%). The multimodal MRI EC staging results were 34 cases (38.6%), 24 cases (27.3%), 18 cases (20.5%), 10 cases (11.3%) and 2 cases (2.3%) respectively, of which the multimodal MRI total sensitivity and accuracy were 93.3% and 84.09%. 13 cases were misjudged by multimodal MRI staging, of which 5 cases were underestimated and 8 cases were overestimated. Conclusion:.3.0T multimodal MRI is an important imaging tool for preoperative EC staging. The latest EC staging criteria are more practical, convenient and reliable for guiding clinical practice.
