Composite based on graphite oxide, metallic silver and zirconium phthalocyanine coordinated by out-of-plane argininate ligands as photoactive antibacterial additive to endodontic cement

摘要
•Synthesis of Zr(IV) phthalocyanine axially substituted with L-arginine is described.•Composite of graphite oxide, PcZr(Arg)2 and silver nanoparticles was obtained.•Structure, morphology and spectroscopy of nanocomposites were presented.•ROS generation ability of phthalocyanine complex and composite material was shown.•ROS generation by dental cement doped with composite was confirmed.•Antimicrobial activity and cytotoxicity of obtained composite materials were tested.
