摘要

•Azobenzene and azopyridine functionalized polyimides were prepared.•The impact of the azo compound on the light-induced processes was showed.•Large diffraction efficiency (20%) and modulation of SRG (260 nm) were presented.•A decrease in the relief depth was not observed two years after SRG inscription.
