Abstract
We introduce a simple and original method that allows to investigate the effect of acceleration on a typical single particle interferometer. For simplicity, we present our method in the language of quantum gate operation. We show that the interaction between an uniformly accelerated detector and a massless scalar field modify the interference pattern. In this scheme, the visibility of the interference pattern encodes information about the Unruh temperature. (C) 2021 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
