摘要
•DS Cu-Y has been obtained by a powder metallurgical route from Cu and yttrium acetate.•TEM measurements reveal the presence of Y2O3 nanometric particles.•The cavities are formed from volatile compounds.•The EBSD analysis indicate that the average grain size is below one micrometer.•The DS Cu-Y yield strength is greater than that of Cu below 473 K.
