Accomodation And Enterpreneurship In Rural Areas: The Case Of Pousada Daneliv, Irati, Parana, Brazil

This article is the result of research on means of accommodation and entrepreneurship in rural areas. The general objective was to analyze whether entrepreneurship in the hotel sector is developing effectively in the rural areas of Irati, Parana, Brazil. To answer this question, some specific objectives were dimensioned, such as: identifying the means of accommodation located in the rural area of Irati-PR; perform the analysis of scenarios of the means of accommodation identified; ponder on the potential for the development of lodging facilities aimed at rural tourism in Irati-PR. For this, the methodology followed a qualitative approach, with bibliographic research and semi-structured interviews. The researched area was Pousada Daneliv, in the interior of the municipality. Finally, it is concluded that in the municipality of Irati-Parana there are possibilities for the expansion of lodging facilities in rural areas, since Pousada Daneliv demonstrates that there is demand for this segment and its respective equipment and tourist services, as there are also public sector incentive and support for such development.
