摘要
Aiming to evaluate the effect of electric thermal storage (ETS) in large-scale renewable power integration, a new method is proposed based on enhanced sequential production simulation (ESPS). In the new method, wind and photovoltaic (PV) power integration capacities are simultaneously optimized in consideration of several boundary conditions of Shaanxi power system such as power supply, network constrains and future load. Electric thermal storage is utilized as demand response resource to absorb the curtailed renewable power and improve its integration capacity. The sensitivity analysis is undertaken to demonstrate whether electric thermal storage is suitable for the chosen regional power system. Through such analysis, a reasonable renewable energy development scale and mode could be given for decision support of power system planning.
