Report On The Development Of The Shanghai Pudong New Area

In the past five years, under the joint efforts of the broad masses and cadres of the Pudong New Area, the New Area continued to promote innovation-driven development, economic transformation and upgrading, it successfully completed the objectives and tasks of the 12th Five-Year Plan, and prepared for the 13th Five-Year Plan from a high starting point. The year 2016 is the beginning year of the "13th Five-Year Plan". Faced with the macro background of a weak global economic recovery and increasing downward pressure on the domestic economy, the Pudong New Area fully implements the developmental philosophy of innovation, coordination, green, openness and sharing, and actively advances the supply-side structural reform and strives for steady economic development.
