Titanium alloy treatment technologies in recent years have become widely used in the everyday life of the common consumer. The fields of applications of titanium alloys are vast spread in industry, medicine and dentistry. Applications in design and art has expanded to such a rate, that the results of these technologies are already an indispensable element in the everyday activities of our civilization. Anodizing titanium alloy of Ti-6Al-7Nb is one of these technologies. This paper considers anodizing as an electrolytic process, forming an oxide layer on the surface of a specimen, and emphasizes the impact of some of the main parameters of the process, as well as the results obtained in terms of design applications.
