Galvanostatic Recycling Zinc From Selected Industrial Waste Waters

This article describes a study of galvanostatic recyclimg Zn from model selected industrial waters containing 100 mg L-1 zinc sulphate. Use of various types if electrode arrangements were discussed, based on Ti, Cu or other cathodic materials and Pd. Pr or Au anodes. The amount of deposited Zn, its concenteration dcrease, pH as well as an electric conductivity of treated aqueous solutions dependent on time t were registered. The obtained experimental data were fitted by adequate expressions providing reasonable values of kinetic parameters.
