Abstract
Eugenia lomeroensis, a new species of Eugenia sect. Racemosae endemic to Cerrado vegetation in the Lomerio region in the Chiquitania (Santa Cruz, Bolivia) is described and illustrated. Eugenia lomeroensis is compared with E. chiquitensis, which is considered the most similar species.
