Abstract
Currently, filling grout parameters and volume of grouts are determined by adhering to empirical procedures. Consequently, it is possible to encounter some errors and engineering problems. Therefore, an optimisation of grouting parameters and volume of filling grouting in karst has been proposed by a simulation experiment. To study the relationship between filling grouting effect in karst and grouting factors, a total of 16 simulation experiments in karst were conducted, organised according to the orthogonal experimental design method. Analysis of experimental results, the optimization method of grouting parameters and grouting quantity was proposed, and to verify by a grouting project of karst tunnel engineering. The results show that: the grouting device which developed by oneself can simulate karst filling grouting under different working conditions; the effect of grouting is affected by the three factors (permeability coefficients of ground, grouting pressure, water cement ratio) in varying degrees; grouting parameters and volume of grouting has been obtained through this method which is an efficient and credible method of filling grouting design.
