Urban flood modeling using deep-learning approaches in Seoul, South Korea

•Flood hazard was analyzed in Seoul city based on environmental drivers.•Applicability of two deep-learning models was scrutinized.•Prediction performance was slightly better with NNETC than NNETR.•Terrain ruggedness index in urban areas is the most important flood driver.
