Length-mass relationships of Australian aquatic invertebrates

Length-mass relationships for macroinvertebrates are used in many ecological studies; however, few length-mass relationships are available for Australian freshwater macroinvertebrates. In this study, we generated 22 new length-mass relationships from 2148 specimens spread across four orders, nine families, three subfamilies, 12 genera and two species. We also qualitatively compare our length-mass equations with others from Australia, New Zealand, North America and Europe.
