Abstract
•NO-reburning by syngas with CO2 and CH4 is studied in JSR for the first time.•The modified mechanism has good consistency with experiments under most cases.•The optimal NO-reburning condition for syngas is T≈1150 K, Φ≈1.67, and α≈1.•The critical reactions for NO-reburning by syngas with CO2 and CH4 are identified.
