Synthesis TS-1 nanozelites via L-lysine assisted route for hydroxylation of Benzene

•TS-1 nanozeolite was achieved in a concentrated gel system through a two-step synthesis method.•The effect of the addition of L-lysine on the structure of zeolite was proposed.•The formation mechanism of nanozeolite was speculated.•TS-1 nanozeolite showed the excellent catalytic performance in hydroxylation of benzene.
