摘要
•Mn0.97Ni0.03CoSi alloy was prepared by high-magnetic-field solidification with a slow cooling rate.•The room-temperature critical field and the trictitical point was decreased to 0.4 T and 280 K, respectively.•Room-temperature anisotropic reversible magnetostrictive effects was observed in oriented and dense Mn0.97Ni0.03CoSi alloy.
