摘要
•Pterostilbene protected the progression of rat liver fibrosis induced by CCl4.•Pterostilbene is more potent than hydroxystilbenes against hepatic fibrosis.•More reduction of oxidative damage and inhibition of HSCs activation.•More effective in down-regulating TGF-β1, p-Smad1/2 and p-ERK1/2 expression.
