摘要
Mercury Cadmium Telluride (MCT) is the most widely used material in infrared detection. This paper explicates the controlling and enhancing of Electric field intensity close to the absorption region of the MCT. The numerical examinations expatiate that the absorption profile in the mid-wave-infrared (MWIR) can be increased by incorporating metal oxide nanostructure arrays. The geometric parameterization and optimization plasmonic metal oxide nanostructures will implicitly shape the E-field interface which leads to more light collection and absorption edge engineering. This research will boost the dynamic range and sensitivity of infrared detectors that can function in multiple detection windows.
