Abstract
•The combustion performance of complex components associated gas was tested.•The maximum difference of limiting oxygen content was 2.94% under the test condition.•The empirical formulae are summarized to calculate the combustion characteristics.•Compared with N2, CO2 gas has more efficient inerting ability under high pressure.
