Abstract
•The Xitieshan deposit have undergone post-ore metamorphism and deformation.•Sulfide assemblages in marble provide insights into the primary sulfide ore textures.•δ34S values of sulfides corresponds to the range of igneous origin.•Hydrothermal fluids producing the alterations were derived from igneous activity.•A CRD model is more likely to account for the origin of the deposit.
