Abstract
The main objective of this article is to present the findings on eHealth and doctor-patient relationship from four social researchs (two bibliographic reviews and two qualitative studies on opinions and social representations of eHealth of health professionals who work in the Metropolitan Area of the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The findings show the centrality of eHealth in the academic production on the doctor-patient relationship since 2000, the various practices that the concept includes, and the presence that some of these practices have in the traditional face-to-face doctor-patient relationship.
