摘要

The thermal decomposition of gallium nitrate hydrate, Ga(NO3)(3)center dot 9H(2)O, was studied using visual observation, thermogravimetric analysis coupled with mass spectrometry, and X-ray crystallography. A decomposition scheme involving compounds containing the [Ga-13(OH)(24)(OH2)(24)](15+) polycation, in addition to gaseous water and hydrogen nitrate, is proposed. (C) 2021 Elsevier Ltd.
