Self-Manageable Backhaul Network Design For Rural Connectivity In Sucre - Colombia

摘要
This paper addresses the design and implementation of a backhaul telecommunication network in the region of Sucre (Colombia) as a disruptive solution to extend connectivity from the core network located in the city of Chalan, to the rural communities of Chalan and Ovejas. Internet connectivity will be delivered through a self-manageable telecommunications wireless technology known as WiBACK, supporting future 5G communication. Results will layout the roadmap and benchmarking of upgrade scenarios of Colombian access network, envisioning broadband rural connectivity in the context of post-conflict.
