ADAMTS1 is regulated by the EP4 receptor in the zebrafish ovary

•Treatment with PGE2 but not PGF2α upregulates adamts1 expression.•EP1 and EP2 antagonists do not block PGE2-induced adamts1 expression.•An EP4 antagonist blocks PGE2-induced adamts1 expression.•17,20β-P has no effect on adamts1 expression.•adamts1 expression was not found to vary over the ovulatory period.
