UV-resistant transparent lignin-based polyurethane elastomer with repeatable processing performance

•Lignin endows the polyurethane material with high crosslinking density and UV resistant properties.•Lignin as a fulcrum gives excellent elastic recovery properties to lignin-based polyurethane.•Lignin-based polyurethane has good transparency.•Lignin-based polyurethane possesses the characteristics of repeatable processing.•The lignin-based polyurethane hot pressing fabric prepared by hot pressing method has excellent ultraviolet resistance.
