Abstract
This paper discusses the energy management for the new power system configuration of the telecommunications site that also provides power to electric vehicles. The modeling and control of the proposed system, composed of hybrid energy sources that are photovoltaic panels and a diesel generator with batteries, are also presented. The hybrid system will provide energy to a telecommunications site located in an isolated area. The management algorithm used in this work aims to significantly reduce the investment costs of the power system. From an environmental point of view, the hybrid system can reduce gas emissions from the diesel generator, while maintaining spaced maintenance targets compatible with the operation of the isolated site.
