Experimental investigation of nonlinear optical responses of Fuchsine dye by reversed micelles
OPTICAL AND QUANTUM ELECTRONICS(2021)
Abstract
Nonlinear refractive (NLR) index ( n_2 ) and nonlinear absorption (NLA) coefficient ( β ) of Fuchsine dye in the water, DMSO, surfactant solution and nano-droplets (NDs) have been measured by Z-Scan instrument. In this research fluorescence and absorbance spectra of Fuchsine have been also investigated. According to the results of this study, although nonlinear optical properties of Fuchsine dye have changed with increasing in cationic surfactant concentration, there is not any changes with the increase of anionic surfactant concentration. Moreover, the effect of size and concentration of NDs in AOT microemulsion on nonlinear optical properties of Fuchsine dye has been studied. Based on the results NLR index and NLA coefficient have been enhanced with increasing in size and concentration of NDs.
