Abstract
The widespread use of the Vyazovkin's method in the analysis of thermal dissociation of the solid phase by isoconversional methods prompted consideration of views regarding the kinetic triplet. We examined published data of thermal dissociation conducted for seven heating rates in two versions: analytical, where the constant incorporating the Arrhenius A=const is symbolically marked as =1, and numerical, where A=var (symbolically Omega). Calculations were performed for integral analytic form and for integral and differential numerical forms to yield three possible outcomes. The canonical form for this method was derived, making it possible to reduce the number of simplexes to be considered, and standard errors in the analytical proceedings were determined. From all the data, we present a proposal to use Vyazovkin's fundamental dependency only for consecutive and increasing heating rates with sufficient accuracy to solve the temperature integral according to Coats-Redfern.
