Analysis of Power Transfer from the Generator to the Beam in Accelerating Structures of Different Types

— Different accelerating structures are analyzed with respect to their maximum current and shunt resistance depending on the efficiency of the structure. It is found that a structure based on a standing wave with series coupling is an optimal structure in regards to microwave power transfer to the beam.
