Abstract
In the past ten years, urban rail transit in China has entered a high-speed golden construction period, and in future a safe operation and maintenance period will be upcoming. The rapid increase of operating length of urban rail transit results in a large and prospective operation and maintenance market, however, the current track construction and maintenance management has not yet formed the whole-process, high-efficiency, and informational and intelligent management, moreover, there are technical gaps in the life cycle management of track. Based on the theory of life cycle, an integrated intelligent platform for life cycle management of track is developed by using the big data analysis and intelligent management technology. The life cycle management of track could be executed by four continuous phases including research and design, manufacturing or construction, operation and maintenance, and recycling. The features of the platform briefly are presented, as well as components and function. Through real-time online management by using the platform, the level and efficiency of track construction and maintenance management can be improved, and the safety, comfort, and economy of urban rail transit operation will be guaranteed. At the same time, source saving and environmental protection will be further promoted.
