Abstract
Endoscopy is commonly performed in the inpatient setting. Completion of these procedures in a timely manner is crucial in the diagnostic workup and management of these patients. Delay in endoscopic procedures may adversely impact patient related outcomes. The aim of this study was to identify the effect of inpatient endoscopy delay on 30-day hospital readmission rate.
