摘要
Disconnected duct syndrome (DDS) is a complication of acute pancreatitis (AP) in which the upstream pancreatic duct becomes completely discontinuous with the downstream pancreatic duct. This presents a challenge to endoscopists as pancreatic fluid collections (PFC) frequently recur in such patients. Endoscopic approaches including permanent indwelling transmural stents have been advocated to decrease recurrences. Our study aims to assess the outcomes of endoscopic management of PFC in patients with DDS.
