摘要
During 1997 and 1998 in General Hospital Varazdin we have performed 150 laparoscopic appendectomies. There were 26 patients under the age of 16 among them. The aim of this study was to evaluate and investigate cardiorespiratotry effects of pneumoperitoneum in children.Patients were divided in two groups, according to their age (5-10, and 10-16). All patients received endotracheal anaesthesia, and tracrium for muscular relaxation, all respiratory parameters were adjusted to their body weight. We measured hart rate, blood pressure, etCO(2), SaO(2), pressures in airways (peak, plateau), duration of operation. The airway pressure and etCO(2) showed significant increase during laparoscopy (p<0.05) in all cases, but different for different age group. Hemodinamics including blood pressure, hart rate oxygen saturation were not significantly changed. None of these changes did not influence hemodinamic stability of children.
