Abstract
The present paper sought to analyze the approaches on the concept of ecopedagogy in articles published in Environmental Education journals in Brazil, as well as to map the published articles and to identify the foundations and ecopedagogical practices described. Through an online survey based on the keyword ecopedagogy, 22 articles were selected, which were then organized by title, author, geographical distribution, approaches to ecopedagogy and year of publication. After reading the articles, it was possible to draw some categorizations about the ecopedagogy concept presented in the articles, such as: sensitization and affectivity in the integral relationship between man and nature; criticism of the curriculum and / or proposition of alternative curricula for ecopedagogy and epistemological concepts. Ecopedagogy is at the beginning of a consolidation process, whether in the investigative sphere of academic production, or in the social or educational field.
