Abstract
Background and Aims: We previously showed that rs17574 DDP4 polymorphism is associated with hypoalphalipoproteinemia (HA). Considering that HA is often present in diabetic patients and is a risk factor for premature coronary artery disease (pCAD), we evaluate the association of this polymorphism with pCAD in diabetic (pCAD+DM) patients.
