Long-term exposure to traffic noise and biomarkers of chronic inflammation: the sapaldia study

Background and Aims: Evidence linking short-term traffic noise exposure to endothelial dysfunction and oxidative stress is growing. We aimed at characterizing the chronic inflammatory role of population-level noise exposures and thus investigated the relationship between long-term exposure to source-specific traffic noise and biomarkers of chronic inflammation.
