Polarimetric Hyperspectral Imaging With Acousto-Optic Tunable Filter In The Visible To Shortwave Infrared Range

摘要
We developed polarimetric hyperspectral imaging instruments covering visible to NIR, and SWIR spectral ranges. The instruments are based on acousto-optic tunable filter and liquid crystal variable retarders, allowing full Stokes vector measurement with fast and full electronic tuning, with the acousto-optic device function both as spectral filter and analyzer. The instrument can find applications such as biomedical diagnostics, target detection, surveillance, atmospheric aerosol monitoring, metrology, and chiral molecules measurements.
