Abstract
We correlate histological features with stage of disease, treatment and patient outcome in 30 patient with primary ocular adnexal lymphoma. Among the 30 cases 15 had histological features of MALT lymphoma. Meningeal or sinus infiltration was present in 3 of 4 large cell lymphomas. Spread to lymph nodes or bone marrow was present in 7 of I I patients with non MALT low grade lymphoma and I of 15 MALT lymphoma patients. Five of 17 patients treated with localised radiotherapy had relapsed. In conclusion the clinical presentation of ocular adnexa lymphoma is associated with the histological diagnosis. The relapse is frequent and not associated with the histological diagnosis.
