New Data On Stone Runs In Vladayska River Valley, Vitosha Mountain

The aim of the following study is to analyze quantitatively the size, shape and form of boulders in stone runs in Vitosha Mountain, Bulgaria. Rock boulders and blocks are measured in several key sites representing rock outcrops of monzonite. Every particle is characterized by measuring its longest (a), intermediate (b) and shortest (c) axis. Particle morphology is related with petrography, weathering processes and the mode and duration of transport and deposition.
